  3.               DEMO
  4.  
  5. Using this control you may:
  6. A) Insert formatted telephone numbers
  7. B) Retrieve from a DB the main country
  8.      and area codes
  9. C) 'Smart' Dial a telephone number
  10.       
  11. ^^25^^ INSERT AND FORMAT TEL #
  12.  
  13. The control accepts local and 
  14. international tel # and format them
  15. as:
  16.  
  17. +1 (800) 787-6763 / 764
  18.                   
  19.  |   |      |        + extension
  20.  |   |      + tel #
  21.  |   + area code
  22.  + int code.
  23.  
  24. It is possible to insert only partial 
  25. numbers (just the tel #)
  26.  
  27. Lets Try.
  28.       
  29. ^^26^^I enter a local number          
  30. ^^27^^I may also enter international numbers 
  31. ^^28^^The control also accept other fonts.     
  32. ^^29^^RETRIEVE FROM THE DB INT.CODES AND AREA CODE
  33. The telephone control ships with a Db containing
  34. the main countries and areas telephone codes.
  35.  
  36. If the user does not know an international code 
  37. he just press F4 and obtain the list of the 
  38. main countryes.
  39.  
  40. From this list he may drill down (with arrow-right)
  41. to an area code list that may be reached also
  42. using F5 (for the selected country);
  43.  
  44. Clearly entries may be removed / added.
  45.       
  46. ^^30^^The user press F4;
  47. Select a country;
  48. Press left arrow
  49. Select an area code 
  50. ^^31^^Or if he want to change the area code only he press F5 
  51. ^^32^^Note as the area code has changed 
  52. ^^33^^DIAL THE NUMBERS
  53. The user may:
  54. A) Set up the modem
  55. B) 'Smart' Dial a telephone number.
  56.  
  57. The Telephone control Dialing is 'Smart' because it builds the tel # using information stored in the Location file.
  58.  
  59. Pratically speaking it prefixes the number with the appropriate int. prefix, int. code, area
  60. prefix and area code.
  61. For example if you normally are in area 788 and  you are travelling in your country with your 
  62. portable when you dial the number 726-5666 the control dials 7887265666.                 
  63. ^^34^^Lets see the modem setup dialog.
  64. I press F6     
  65. ^^35^^Here all the modem info may be set up
  66. (refer to Your modem manual for more information)     
  67. ^^36^^With cancel I exit without 
  68. modifying the information   
  69. ^^37^^To set up the Location informations.
  70. I press F8. 
  71. ^^38^^Here the information
  72. for Rio de Janeiro are inserted.     
  73. ^^39^^To Dial just press F7
  74. (I do not want you to dial a tel # so  the demo will not do it)
